While creating these pieces, I allowed myself to embody the urgency of fleeting excitement, the freedom I felt there; recalling the tenderness of intimacy. An atmosphere best captured by the Portuguese saying, saudade. These works embody themes of perspective, brotherhood, and vulnerability - both in subject matter and execution.
