About The Artwork
“Exaggerate to give the impression inside that you feel outside,” (CW Hawthorne) was the mantra echoing through my mind while I painted this series of plein air landscapes. Painting is the vehicle that allows me to communicate what I feel and share it with others. These landscapes are vignettes from wherever I was able to sit still long enough to paint it.
